I'll Let You Know When We Get There

In November 2007, I completed a long-time project: my book I'll Let You Know When We Get There. The work is hard to categorize; it's part travel, part history, part humor, part adventure, and more. It is a series of mini-essays, illustrated by professional photos, about a time when the world wasn't such a small place. Travel and communication, as well as the pace of life, were much slower, and a woman was less apt to travel the globe alone, especially for extended periods of time. It's exciting to share all this with you in our new world.

Vignettes illustrated by professional photographs capture a special era after World War II when history changed gears and shifted into overdrive.
